This English text is provided for your convenience. The Thai version is the operative one under Thai law.

These terms cover the website. The terms on which we rent you a vehicle are separate and are set out in the rental terms.

Who operates this site

NET CAR RENTAL, Chiang Mai, Thailand. Registered name, e-commerce registration number and tax identification number appear in the footer of every page, with any value still pending shown as pending rather than omitted.

Information and prices on this site

We keep the information here accurate and we correct errors when we find them.

Prices shown include everything we charge: first-class insurance, unlimited mileage, and tax. The only additional amounts that can arise are ones this site names explicitly — the ฿300 delivery charge beyond about 25 km, the ฿200 out-of-hours charge between 22:00 and 06:00, optional extras you select, and the refundable deposit. There are no fees revealed later in the process.

Prices and availability can change. A price shown is not a binding offer until we confirm your specific booking.

If an obvious error appears — a rate showing an implausible figure through a data mistake — we will tell you and offer the correct price rather than honouring something that was clearly wrong. You are free to decline at that point at no cost.

A booking request is not yet a contract

This matters, and we would rather be blunt about it than have you assume otherwise.

Sending us a booking through this site or on LINE creates a request, not a rental agreement. Nothing is charged, and no car is reserved for you, until a person has checked the vehicle is genuinely available and confirmed back to you.

That is why the confirmation page says "awaiting confirmation" rather than "confirmed". We normally reply within about 15 minutes during opening hours.

The contract comes into existence when we confirm. The rental agreement itself is signed at handover.

Payment

This website does not take payment. There is no checkout, no card form, and no payment processor connected to it. Any page asking you to enter card details in the name of this business is not ours.

Payment is made in person at handover, in cash or by PromptPay.

Acceptable use

You may use this site for finding information and making booking requests. You may not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its infrastructure
• Use automated tools to scrape content at a rate that burdens the service
• Submit booking requests you do not intend to honour
• Use the site for anything unlawful

Intellectual property

The text, photographs, layout and code of this site belong to NET CAR RENTAL unless stated otherwise. Vehicle manufacturer names and marks belong to their respective owners and are used to describe the vehicles we rent.

You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link. Republishing substantial parts, or reusing our photographs commercially, requires permission — which we will usually give if you ask.

Links to other sites

We link to third-party sites where doing so is useful — charging network apps, government pages about the International Driving Permit, map services. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Liability

We provide this site with reasonable care but do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent permitted by Thai law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website itself — for example, a journey planned around information that later changed.

Nothing in this clause limits our liability under the rental agreement, our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Thai consumer protection law. Where those apply, they apply regardless of what is written here.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version number and date at the top of this page change when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the updated terms; if a change matters to a booking already confirmed, the terms in force when we confirmed it continue to apply to that booking.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Kingdom of Thailand.
